At the same year, he became a post graduate student for PhD on a national scholarship to study abroad. After his PHD study in Royal University of Groningen, Institute of Social Studies and the T.M.C. Asser Institute The Hague, Yufang became an Assistant in Education with Erasmus University Rotterdam. Yufang started his career in providing professional international legal and financial services since the early 1990s, first as the China Desk Manager of Deloitte, Director of China Practice of Linklaters & Alliance De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, Director Asia Practice of Arthur Andersen, and Chairman of Asia Team of the British Law Firm Bird & Bird. He was also a global partner in Clairfield International. At the end of 2003, Yufang founded Jomec and is still its chairman today. Under Yufang’s leadership, Jomec International Lawyers won the best Gold Sandglass Prize as the Best Niche Law Firm of the Netherlands. During his career, Yufang has published many articles, and has been a guest lecturer at different Universities such as Erasmus, Tilburg, Leiden, Amsterdam etc. He has also been often key-note speakers in international conferences. During her bachelor’s, she went to the University of Groningen as an exchange student for 5 months, which triggered her interest in working in an international environment. She passed the bar exam of Taiwan at the end of 2017 and obtained the official attorneys’ license in August 2018 after several months of training. After that, she worked in THLK Partners, a boutique law firm in Taipei, as an associate, specializing in corporate laws, business laws, and financial laws. In 2021, she came to the Netherlands again to pursue the Master’s degree of International Business Law in Tilburg University, and successfully obtained her diploma in 2022.
