Prof. Dr. Roland Klose holds a PHD in business administration from the University of Wuerzburg, Germany. He started his professional career as a consultant in NYC, USA, focusing on launching international ventures in the US. During his further profession he had several national and international assignments in developing and directing international corporations in various functions with focus on engineering, contracting and project management. Lately he was engaged as managing partner at a diversified real estate developer in Germany and partner in an M&A firm in Switzerland advising and investing in startup companies.
He is Professor for Strategic Management and Internationalization at the FOM, University for Applied Sciences, Essen and one of the speakers of DSW and Euro-shareholders, whereby he has developed an extensive network in the industry.
At the DIPS, German Institute for Portfolio Strategy, Essen, he served as member of the advisory board. He also served on the German Asia-Pacific Board, as well as the German-Design Council. He is a fellow of the Baden-Baden entrepreneur’s network: (www.bbug.de).
Prof. Dr. Klose is currently a partner of Jomec Group and responsible for the Group’s M&A business in the Germany. He has extensive operation and negotiating experience in international M&A transactions between China and Germany.
